Zena (제나) was born as Kim Gayoung (김가영) on November 27, 2008 in South Korea. She graduated from Hwangseong Elementary School, Geunhwa Girls’ Middle School and is expected to enrol in Hanlim Multi Art School in 2024. She is also a former member of PREMIUM DANCE STUDIO. [1][2]

2022: Stars Awakening[]
On April 14, 2022, Zena was confirmed to participate in the Channel A survival show 'Stars Awakening' under her real name 'Kim Gayoung' in the 'Idol' category. During the show, she performed 'Gee'. Unfortunately she was eliminated on the seventh episode due to the failure to pass the third round.
2024: Debut with RESCENE[]
On February 18, 2024, Zena was revealed to be the third member of THE MUZE new girl group 'RESCENE'. RESCENE were then confirmed to make their debut on March 26, with a pre-release single on February 29.
